The Lobster Shanty has been an institution in Point Pleasant Beach for generations. Unfortunately this restaurant was substantially damaged in Superstorm Sandy and needed to be fully renovated. The previous bar was demolished and replaced with this new restaurant bar in its place. This simple dark wood bar retained the classic seafood restaurant / oyster bar feel; a mix of casual and sophistication.
